This project seeks to assess community needs in education on commonly prescribed or over-the-counter medications and collaborate with the Pharmacy Quality Improvement project. After conducting the needs assessment, our team is able to determine the most prevalent health conditions present in the community and create educational materials to provide the community with a well-rounded knowledge of medications.
The Medication Education Project strives to expand knowledge of common health conditions as well as their corresponding medications in easily digestible terms to members of the community. Our team has developed a variety of presentations, pamphlets, infographics, and other educational materials in both English and Spanish.
